This hanging produces such a decorative effect that one would like to see a grand hall of the XVth century thus hang and decorated. The rendering recals the flat and boldly outlined mural paintings of the preceeding centuries, and the traditions of pure art are cleverly observes.

We show above an ornamented tissue borrowed from a picture of the Louvre by Fra Angelico. Is the composition due to the master or copied from an actual stuff, we care not know, as it is remarkable and its execution easy.
