Afternoon Dress September 1795. Hat à l’Espagnole.
The hair in small curls, the side hair in ringlets, and the hind hair turned up plain. White satin hat à l’Espagnole, turned tip at the left side, and fastened with a diamond button and loop; white ostrich feather on the left side.
Robe and petticoat of fine muslin; the petticoat richly embroidered; the robe trimmed round the neck, and down the sides with lace. Two plaitings of lace round the neck. Short muslin sleeves, trimmed with edging, and the epaulettes trimmed with three rows of lace. Sash of white satin riband, tied on the right side into a small bow. Diamond necklace and ear-rings. White gloves and shoes.
