Ivan Ilyich Sergiev 1829-1909, also known as the Holy righteous John of Kronstadt, was an archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church, who was canonized in 1964.
Since 1856, he kept a diary (“My Life in Christ”), which was posthumously translated into many different languages and is considered as a guideline for many Orthodox.
