Pencak Silat is a martial art from Southeast Asia with its center in Indonesia. Pencak Silat is often accompanied of music like many Southeast Asian martial arts. Each region has its own styles and instruments. In the west of Java, in the province of West Java, pencak-silat demonstrations are traditionally accompanied by a musical ensemble called Pencak Kendang.
