Ramses II., Also known as Ramses the Great (* around 1303 v. Chr .; † 27 June 1213 v. Chr.), Was the third ancient Egyptian king (Pharaoh) from the 19th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. He reigned from 1279 to 1213 BC.,  and was one of the greatest rulers of ancient Egypt.
