Henry II. (1519-1559) from the House of Valois-Angoulême was from 1547 to 1559 King of France. Henry was married on October 28, 1533 with Catherine de Medici (1519-1589), when they were both 14 years of age. In 1536 he moved after the death of his elder brother François to the heir to the throne (Dauphin) and Duke of Brittany.
