Herta Koch 1881-1960, daughter of Alexander Koch (Publisher of important art magazines such as “German Art and Decoration” and “Interior Decoration”. Initiator to the emergence of the artist colony on the Mathildenhoehe in Darmstadt, one of the most important centers of Art Nouveau in Germany.). Married to the writer William Michel. 1919 founding member of the Darmstadt Secession.
