A Panka-Wallah
Dress of a Panka-Wallah (पङ्खा वाला), Indian servant.
A punkah, from Hindi Pankha ‘fan’ in Sanskrit पकशक pakśaka, refers to a large piece of cloth or other material hanging from the ceiling and cools the room, in which the Panka-Wallah it moves back and forth.
