Italian renaissance costumes from Venice in 1600.

Fashion prints from an old Italian book. Depicted the nobility, citizens are in expensive clothes. The precious fabric of the clothing consists mainly of heavy damask, satin, lace and silk. Artfully embroidered. The illustrations give an insight into the environment of the Venetian residents. Processions, carnival or gondoliers are shown in their environment.
