Aquitaine (French Aquitaine, Occitan Aquitània) is a landscape and historical region in southwestern France. It was a province and an administrative region consisting of the departments of Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
