Laure de Sade. French medieval fashion.
Laura de Noves, or also called Laure de Sade. Parents were the Knights Audebert de Noves and Ermessande de Réal.
She was born in 1310 as the daughter of knight Audebert de Noves and Ermessande de Réal. She married at the age of 15 on 16 January 1325, and Petrarch first saw her (if it was her) two years later on 6 April (Good Friday) 1327 at the Easter mass in the church of Sainte-Claire d’Avignon.
She bore Hugues de Sade eleven children: Paul, Audebert, Hugues III (ancestor of the later Sade including the Marquis de Sade), Pierre, Jacques, Joannet, Philippe, Augière, Ermessende, Marguerite, Garsende. She died of the plague in 1348.
